Officer James Nichols Should Be Fired From LAPD
Officer James Nichols of the LAPD has allegedly been extorting, assaulting, and raping the most vulnerable women in Los Angeles because he knew he could get away with it. Who are these vulnerable women? Those who have had a difficult life, experienced violence, battled drug addiction, or experienced the ravages of prostitution.
Nichols apparently knew that he could abuse women whose credibility he considered already damaged – and get away with it. After all, which jury in their right mind would believe a woman who had been arrested and therefore had a “criminal record” over the testimony of a fine, upstanding police officer?
Apparently Chief of Police Charlie Beck worried that a jury just might believe these women. Los Angeles already settled with one of the accusers – the City Council unanimously agreed to pay her will $575,000 to drop her lawsuit against the city. Had Charlie Beck properly supervised his officers, Nichols would not been on the street to rape a woman in 2010. The LAPD had received serious complains about him since as early as 2005.
Their response was not to honor, validate or protect these women.
Their response was not to supply them victim’s advocates or support services to help them recover from such a traumatic experience.
Their response was to sweep the women’s claims under the rug, and simply transfer Nichols to a new territory to give him a “fresh start.”
Does this remind anyone of the Catholic church in past?
Under the color of law, wearing his uniform, and invoking the never-tell-on-another-cop code of honor with his partners, Officer James Nichols has been able to get away with additional heinous crimes while employed by the LAPD (allegedly), long after he should have been taken off the street. Thanks to the assault of media mogul Brian Mulligan (who had the courage to sue the LAPD for police brutality and more), the names of Officer James Nichols and his partner, Officer John Miller, made it into the news. This helped a few of Nichols’ female victims realize that they were not his only victims. Women started finding the courage in numbers, and to come forward. Maybe there are more women?

If you have been victimized by police and need help,
Maybe there are more men who have been subjected to his brutality like Brian Mulligan? (To learn what happened to Brian Mulligan, see the video below.)

After reading the stories, ask yourself why, after years of free reign to abuse people without consequence, why is Officer James Nichols still on the police force? And why has he never been charged with a crime?
1. Because his previous partner, Officer Luis Valenzuela, was apparently a predator just as bad or even worse than him. They would allegedly tag-team raping and abusing women, after which they would threaten them with consequences if they told.
2. Because his partner Officer John Miller (who was not involved in the crimes against women that we know of) did not prevent Nichols from savagely beating an innocent man, then covered for Nichols’ behavior, and lied on the stand about what he witnessed with Brian Mulligan. (See the video above.)
3. Because LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck does not have the courage to clean up his police department. He is more interested in saving his own reputation than saving the citizens of Los Angeles from being harmed by his police officers. Period.
